Off-Roading on Wake

So everyone eventually left on a Wake server, so I went off-roading to the tip of the eastern arm:

I tried to turn around on the beach and head back, but I backed a little too far into the water:

Genius developers made it so that once the engine exhaust outlet is fully submerged, the engine sound works (even afterburner), but there is no thrust movement at all. I had to abandon her here:

Is this possible?

How can the US win the game when we controlled all the flags???

Did Good for Once

Although our team lost, I did pretty good on this n00b server (look at the ranks lol), this is probably only the 3rd or 4th time I've ever lead my team in points at the end of a game. We lost all our spawn points at this stage and seconds later the round ended.

My First Ever Vote to Kick

I've never been vote kicked as commander, usually do pretty well, but I was just a plain medic on a squad on some n00b 24/7 Wake server and people were vote kicking random people almost non-stop. I didn't think it was possible to vote kick unless you were commander, but what do I know. My first vote kick ever! yay

id|Euro Ping Is Irrelevant

Ed, here's a small compilation of hundreds more game-end screenies - look at my pings on the euro server, it is no obstacle whatsoever to a very playable game. I never understood why so many north americans cry and refuse to play on the euro servers, they're just afraid they can't own.

Life's Little Miracles

The story is the hilight, as the screenshot doesn't say much. So I'm playing foreigners side on Dalian Plant, about halfway through the round. The server is nearly full, the US is putting on a really good fight.

So I'm in our main UCB spawn, grab a jeep and head out. There's a major firefight going on at Main Entrance (at the exit from our base's main road). There's a US vehicle fighting it out with a couple of our infantry, it was a bit of a fracas right out in the open. I didn't stop there as I was pressing on to help out at the maintenance buildings.

Then I see "driving" slowly, slowly as almost running speed, on the road is one of our J10's. I don't know if he drove all the way from our airbase or landed there, but he drove right by the action and none of the US vehicles even took a potshot at him, he was in full view. I took this screenie after he drove by them and I pulled up:

Unfortunately I wasn't in a position to get the screenie with the firefight going on behind him but it was really bizarre.
